Three years of inspiration from Norwegian polar explorer heroes

In 2021, when we started the journey with Specula, our vision was clear - we wanted to create sunglasses that not only protected the eyes, but also carried the story of Norway's tireless polar heroes. Inspired by their courage and willingness to explore the most remote parts of our planet, we took on our own challenge: to create the world's best eyewear for an active lifestyle. Made by athletes - for athletes!

Our history is short, but our heritage is deep. We draw inspiration from legendary explorers such as Roald Amundsen, Fridtjof Nansen and Thor Heyerdahl. Their adventures and discoveries have been our guides, and their values ​​have been our compass. From the very beginning, we've committed to creating eyewear that not only reflects their courage, but also empowers people to embrace their inner adventurer.
